LCS Volunteer Application 2026-2027
All volunteers and chaperones must fill out a new volunteer application every year!
VOLUNTEER VS CHAPERONE
Volunteer = Volunteers that interact with students under the supervision of the band director. Must have a Leon County Schools volunteer application (cost = free)
Chaperone = Volunteers that may interact with students in an unsupervised environment. Must have a Leon County Schools volunteer application AND pass a Level 2 background check AND get fingerprinted (cost = $61). Once approved by the district, you will receive an LCS chaperone badge.
Sign-ups in Cuttime will have a Chaperone or Volunteer Distinction. Please ensure you are properly approved before signing up.

Sign up for Volunteer Opportunities in CutTime:
- Weekly Practice, Tues/Thursday 5:30-8pm
- Football Game Nights, usually Fridays
- FSU Sports Shop Sales Booths at FSU Home Games
- Other Band Events like Rehearse-A-Thon, Marching Competitions and parades
We ask for each family to volunteer for a minimum of 3 events each year.
