Happy 24th week of classes!
We are selling Blue Car Wash Tokens!! For $10, you get a $20 valued car wash and $5 goes toward your band fees!
Even if you have already paid all your band fees for this year, get a jump on next year. Please see form for details. Deadline is Friday, February 26th.
Our Middle School Band Day event is on Saturday, March 6th! This is going to be lots of fun and help us recruit for next year! Current students will be given community service hours for attending. We will be outdoors on the band field making music and spending time getting to know our future marching Trojans. If your students has not signed up yet, please fill out the survey here: https://forms.gle/
As we continue on this semester, I wanted to give some options for additional practice time both for individuals, ensembles or to practice with your accompanist. Please let me know if you will need a different time! The band room is also open during A Lunch on Gold days and B Lunch of Green days for practice. Additionally, I will be holding office hours after school on those optional rehearsal days via Zoom as well if any DA students need help or want feedback on their music. Solo and Ensemble Registration
All students who did not perform in the February Solo and Ensemble event are registered for the April 23rd-24th event. If your student plays a woodwind or brass instrument and is performing a solo, they will need to contact an accompanist to record with. If you need any more information, please see attachment for accompanist details. If you need to select a specific day, please let me know this week so I can add that to your registration.

Middle School Band Day
Since we were unable to have our middle school students visit during the fall, we will be hosting them on campus on Saturday, March 6th from 1pm-4pm. All students need to be present and will receive community service hours for their time.
We will be introducing them to our program, making music and will even have a short performance at the end.
Honors Band 5 Credit
The deadline for the first assignment is Honors Band Credit is Friday, February 26th. For details, see the attachment.
