Welcome back! This week is FSA testing, so schedules will be a little different this week. Also, we will not have Jazz or Concert Band Rehearsal on Thursday due to All-District Band Rehearsal. Please see below for details.
Thank you to Tonya Baker and Amy Yeackley for their help with composite photos last week. If you’d like to purchase your student’s photo, you can go to: https://www.pdiportraits.
com/Music-Packages_c_41.html. Select which package you would like to purchase, then fill in your specific details to complete your order. Enter the coupon code 033021 for free shipping. There are no proofs, but each student was given the chance to look at their photos and choose their favorite. The deadline is Friday, April 9th. Our next fundraiser is Lucky Goat Coffee and starts on April 5th-April 19th. Forms are attached and are also available on Canvas and in the band room.

Solo and Ensemble Update
Attached is a list of students registered for the April 23rd-24th event. If your student plays a woodwind or brass instrument and is performing a solo, they will need to contact an accompanist to record with. If you have any questions, please let me know!
All-District Band Update
Thursday, April 8th: 6-8 PM Reading Rehearsal at Leon High School field. We will be bringing chairs for you to use at this rehearsal. Bring a stand, music and pencil!
Thursday, April 15th: 6-9 PM Clinician Rehearsal with Mr. Schwindt at Cobb Middle School basketball court, then gym. We will be bringing chairs for you to use at this rehearsal. Bring a stand, music and pencil! Info on parking will be sent out as the event gets closer.
Friday, April 16th: 9 AM- 5 PM at Gene Cox Stadium
Saturday, April 17th: 1-4 PM Clinician rehearsal with Concert at 7 PM at Gene Cox.
**For any of the above Gene Cox or Leon High School rehearsals—if there is rain, the backup location will be Cobb Middle School gym**
Lucky Goat Fundraiser
- Only ground coffee is available. The whole bean option is not offered for this fundraiser.
- Bags of coffee are now 10 oz. each (instead of 12 oz.)
- Each bag costs $11 and your student band fee account will receive $4.50 for each bag sold.
- Please have your customers pay you and then write one check for the full order to Lincoln High School. Make sure to include your phone number and student name on your check.
- The seasonal flavor is Crème Brulee.
Sales begin NOW! All order forms are due on Monday, April 19. Pick up will be Monday, May 3 in the LHS Bus Loop.
Trojan Band Leadership Information
It’s time to start getting ready for next year! If you are interested in being on leadership or want more information, please see a current student leader or Ms. Haugen. We will pass out Leadership Applications on April 1st.
Booster Elections
We will be having an in person and Zoom General Booster Meeting on Monday, May 3 at 6pm in the LHS Auditorium. We will be social-distancing and masks will be required for everyone who attends. We will be holding Booster Board Elections and talking about upcoming events.
We are looking for some new members for the Trojan Band Booster Board to replace some outgoing parents, including Secretary and Hospitality Chair. If you have questions or are interested in being nominated for these or any other Booster Board position, please contact Debi Menacof, head of the Nominating Committee at debimenacof@gmail.com.
