FROM THE DESK OF MS. HAUGEN
We have just over 2 weeks left in the school year!!!
This evening, we will celebrate all of the students in the Trojan Band Program at our Band Banquet. Lincoln Trojan Band Banquet & Awards Ceremony will be on May 23rd from 6pm to 10pm hosted by the Band Boosters. Due to COVID restrictions, we are holding the banquet at the Capital City Country Club located at 1601 Golf Terrace Drive. Masks will be required when not eating or drinking, but anyone who is not comfortable in an indoor, large group setting should not attend. Dinner will be served by staff and will be a Chili and Baked Potato Bar which will include Beef Chili & White Chicken Chili, Sweet Southern Cornbread, Baked Potatoes and a toppings bar. Dessert will be a Cake Bar including cheesecake, pound cake slices and brownies with assorted toppings as well as Dessert Dip, which is chocolate ganache and sweet cream cheese dip with apple slices, mixed berries and brownie bites. Drinks will include sweet & unsweet iced tea, lemonade and water. See you there!
Just a final reminder that auditions for Symphonic Band and Jazz Band are due tomorrow, May 24th via Flipgrid or in-person. If you have any questions, please check Canvas (slide 2 on the home page).

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser
Here is the order form for the last fundraiser of the school year, Krispy Kreme Certificates. This is a great way to raise money toward individual band fees. The certificates make nice end of year gifts for teachers, “Dads & Donuts” gifts for Father’s Day, or for anyone who needs a sweet treat after this crazy school year!
- Each certificate can be redeemed for one dozen donuts at any Krispy Kreme location. They are $9 each and they never expire.
- For each certificate sold, $4.50 goes to your individual student band account.
- Order forms and payment are due Thursday, June 3. Please make all checks payable to Lincoln High School and include the student’s name and a phone number on the check.
- If possible, please have your customers pay you and write one check for the full order.
If you have any questions, please contact Natalie Zierden at Natalie.Betz-Zierden@kimley-horn.com.
